Social media advertising is also very effective, as it targets users based on their interests and habits. These techniques can lead people to choose certain brands over others, even if they do not need the product. On the other hand, some people argue that advertising is now so common that it is easy to ignore. People are exposed to hundreds of advertisements every day, on television, social media, billboards, and apps. As a result, many consumers have become more skeptical and do not automatically trust advertisements. For instance, they may read reviews online before buying a product instead of relying on a commercial. In my opinion, advertising still has a strong influence, but its effectiveness depends on the individual and the quality of the advertisement. Creative and targeted campaigns can persuade people, while generic or repetitive ads are often ignored. In conclusion, while advertising is sometimes ignored due to its abundance, it remains a powerful tool for influencing consumer choices. Its success varies, but companies continue to rely on it because it can work when done effectively.
