The plans illustrate changes that have taken place in Porth Harbour between 2000 and the present day.

Overall, several new facilities such as showers, toilets, cafés, and shops have been introduced, and the functions of some areas have been significantly modified.

In the western part of the harbour near the main road, a new complex containing toilets and showers has been constructed, replacing part of the old open space. In addition, the positions of the fishing boat area and the marina have been rearranged.

In the southern section, the disused castle that existed in 2000 has been converted into a hotel. Furthermore, cafés and shops have been added near the road leading to the lifeboat station. On the opposite side, in the northern part of the map, a new dock for passenger ferries has been built.
